i am an art-music-lover … bookish at times, creative in my veinsmerge
lanes are open with no boundaries widening at all times till they merge seamlessly
with a grateful heart
It is not easy to live with a grateful heart in times of difficultues even for a Christian who has been baptised for many years. As a human being, we have emotions and to count blessings in such a period of time is hard … and when I finally have overcome my difficulties, I realised there were so many angels and supportive friends along the way. Through prayers, I learned to hold my chin up when I am perplexed. I have to admit I cried quite a lot when the road felt bumpy and discouraging, but that kind of feeling didn’t last long when I remember that God always looked after the sparrows and the wildflowers which no one is particularly assigned to attend to.
There are so many coincidences that I will treasure as they were signs that God gave me as to guide me into the path most comfortable and suited to me. Though I would not one by one describe them here, I knew that He is really our AWESOME God!
damask
i etched a damask rose onto my skin and it grows paler each day until it becomes a part of my blood and flesh
promises
promises are not to be made lightly though ppl often say that promises are to be broken by words or by conduct. i don’t know how ppl make promises nowadays, it seems the value of promises have plummetted becuase few honour promises and few appreciate those who honour promises. Keeping promises is such a virtue, and apparently that is also why ppl litigate when the other party fails to honour the agreed promise …………………………………………………………….. Why remove this virtue
‘NU’ Quartet
Some photos i took for ‘NU’ Quartet recently outside Arts Centre, Wanchai. These photos have become my favourites! I still remember the weather was very hot though the performance was in the early evening. I was very delighted to take those photos and at at the smae time to listen jazz music!!

Pick Yourself Up
Nothing’s impossible I have found
For when my chin is on the ground
I pick myself up, dust myself off, start all over again
Don’t lose your confidence if you slip
Be grateful for a pleasant trip
And pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start all over again
Work like a soul inspired till the battle of the day is won
You may be sick and tired but you’ll be a man my son
Don’t you remember the famous men who had to fall to rise again?
They picked themselves up, dust themselves off and started all over again
Well I like to listen to this song sung by Diana Krall!
responsibility
It was the last church service in which i was in-charge of all the organ pieces. I played 2 pieces from Bach’s short preludes and fugues. I also played ‘More Love to Thee, O Lord & What A Friend I have in Jesus’. I chose these pieces specifically because the sermon we had this morning was a very important and serious topic … it was on responsibility and shouldering of God’s work and the steps to take in order to respond to His love for us.
Yes, the structure of our Church is going to be pulled down very soon … but when it is going to be rebuilt, we will be proud to enter the doors because we made efforts to transform and continue to serve God.
