i am an art-music-lover … bookish at times, creative in my veins

“A photograph isn’t necessarily a lie, but nor is it the truth. It’s more of a fleeting, subjective impression. What I most like about photography is the moment that you can’t anticipate: you have to be constantly watching for it, ready to welcome the unexpected.”

- Martine Franck

it’s good to be

it’s good to be sitting
listening to music
that i like that i miss
re-living re-winding re-kindling

ash

from ash we come
and from ash we go
our belonging in nature
and our becoming for nature
reduced and unidentified
unidentified but memories alive
in another dimension
we will meet and till that day comes
we shall live each day with
faith          hope        &        peace

i realise i do have a wishlist

but when i prioritise them, they seem to be unimportant whether i really need to have those items

but the thought of wishing gives me a kind of feeling to look forward to something to look into something that i like

maybe the thought of having is good enough not really the actual possession of it

at the brink

at the brink of life and death
what colour is in your mind
what emotions brew in you

day

mark it with a purple pen
mark it with a gold star
scribble some lyrics or
sprinkle few flakes?
stick feathers on your hair
or a little hat on your shoulder
dash drops of perfume until
you become the centre of attraction
wear lavender high heels
and be an elegant host
be unique
no one can mimique!

Season of Change

cotton tree flower

[cotton flowers from HKU]

the season of change begins
when cotton flowers fall

a regular cycle -
each season queues after another

it creates flashes
of energy and emotions

i know i have to keep on moving

but it isn’t easy at all

there’s much more i want to be

and it would certainly be a mistake

if life is just goes on like that

be interesting be curious be courageous

fortunate

today i realised i was fortunate

thank you God!

break only came when i caught a cold

break to think about the year passed
